- 1 cup Almond milk or other milk alternative
- 1 scoop of whey protein or hemp protein (vegetarian option)
- 1Tbsp shredded coconut
- 1/4 frozen mango
- 1/4 pineapple chunks
- 1/3 banana
- 1T ground flax seed
- 1 handful of baby spinach
Blend all ingredients until smooth and serve cold.
TIP: Store ground flax seed in the freezer to prevent the fats from breaking down and losing some of their nutritional benefit.
